New Traffic AlertsS 56th Place: S 56th Place will be closed from south of Vancouver Clinic to north of S 6th Way on Wednesday, September 20 and Thursday, September 21. Detour route around the closure is available via Pioneer, Royle, Wells Dr and Timm Rd. This closure is necessary to allow Clark Regional Wastewater to complete work associated with a new sewer main and service entrances underneath S 56th Place. This work is part of a project partnership between Clark Regional Wastewater District, Port of Ridgefield and City of Ridgefield consisting of upgrading a sewer line, maintaining a stormwater facility, and building a new pedestrian trail.
Ongoing Traffic ImpactsS Union Ridge Parkway: No Parking on Union Ridge Parkway immediately north of S 5th Street during construction work for the Pioneer Street Extension Project. The contractor is using the area for staging. Please use caution in the area. I-5 NB/SB - North Fork Lewis River Bridge - Bridge Deck Repair & Overlay: From Friday, Sept. 8, 2023, and continuing around-the-clock, for the next two months, three lanes of travel will be reduced down to two narrow lanes approaching the northbound span of the North Fork Lewis River Bridge, located between mileposts 19.36 and 20.0, just south of Woodland, WA. For everyone's safety, the speed limit has been reduced leading up to and through the work zone. Significant delays are expected during peak travel hours.
