New Traffic AlertsS 5th Street - September 28 - 30, October 2 - 3: S 5th Street, from Union Ridge Parkway to 74th Place will be closed Thursday, September 28 through Saturday, September 30 from 7AM-7PM, with a tentative extension to Monday, October 2 and Tuesday, October 3. This closure is to allow a contractor to install a sewer main on S 5th Street as part of the Pioneer Street Extension project.
Ongoing Traffic ImpactsN Main Ave - September 18 - 29: Intermittent flagging along N Main Avenue between N Depot Street and Simons Street and on adjacent streets Monday, September 18 through Friday, September 29. This traffic control is to allow Lumen (formerly CenturyLink) to install new overhead communications fiber that will bring new internet bandwidth to downtown Ridgefield. S 5th Street - September 28 - 30: S 5th Street, just east of Union Ridge Parkway will be closed Thursday, September 28 through Saturday, September 30 from 7AM-7PM, with a tentative extension through Tuesday, October 3. This closure is to allow a contractor to install a sewer main on S 5th Street. S Union Ridge Parkway: No Parking on Union Ridge Parkway immediately north of S 5th Street during construction work for the Pioneer Street Extension Project. The contractor is using the area for staging. Please use caution in the area. I-5 NB/SB - North Fork Lewis River Bridge - Bridge Deck Repair & Overlay: From Friday, Sept. 8, 2023, and continuing around-the-clock, for the next two months, three lanes of travel will be reduced down to two narrow lanes approaching the northbound span of the North Fork Lewis River Bridge, located between mileposts 19.36 and 20.0, just south of Woodland, WA. For everyone's safety, the speed limit has been reduced leading up to and through the work zone. Significant delays are expected during peak travel hours.
