This newsletter provides the most up-to-date information about road construction in the City limits and traffic impacts caused by these projects:

New Traffic Alerts

Pioneer Street - February 5: Single lane closure on Pioneer Street between N. 5th Avenue & N. 7th Avenue in downtown on Monday, February 5 from 9:30 AM - 3 PM. This closure is to allow contractors to install a gas line.

S Royle Road -  January 22 - February 9: Single lane closure with flagging during work hours, 7 AM to 5 PM, on S Royle Road between Wells Drive/15th Street and 5th Street Monday, January 22 - Friday, February 9, 2024. This closure will allow utility, irrigation, and sidewalk prep work to occur for Phase 2 of Royle Road Corridor Improvements.

Ongoing Traffic Impacts

S Union Ridge Parkway: No Parking on Union Ridge Parkway immediately north of S 5th Street during construction work for the Pioneer Street Extension Project. The contractor is using the area for staging. Please use caution in the area.
