This newsletter provides the most up-to-date information about road construction in the City limits and traffic impacts caused by these projects:

New Traffic Alerts

Pioneer Street - February 21-23: Single lane closure of the right, westbound lane on Pioneer Street just west of I-5 Wednesday, February 21-Friday, February 23, 9 AM-2 PM. This closure is for installation of natural gas line.

S Royle Road -  January 22 - February 23: Single lane closure with flagging during work hours, 7 AM to 5 PM, on S Royle Road between Wells Drive/15th Street and 5th Street Monday, January 22 - Friday, March 29, 2024. This closure will allow utility, irrigation, and sidewalk prep work to occur for Phase 2 of Royle Road Corridor Improvements.

Ongoing Traffic Impacts

S Union Ridge Parkway: No Parking on Union Ridge Parkway immediately north of S 5th Street during construction work for the Pioneer Street Extension Project. The contractor is using the area for staging. Please use caution in the area.
