S Royle Road - Saturday, August 10: S Royle Road will be closed from Legacy Trails apartments to S 15th Street/Wells Drive on Saturday, August 10. Use detour route (PDF). The roundabout at S Royle Road and S 15th Street/Wells Drive will remain open.
This closure is necessary to complete paving for the top lift of asphalt for Phase 2 of Royle Road Corridor Improvements. By allowing the contractor to have full access to the site via a complete road closure, the contractor may stage equipment without disturbing the previously completed work. It will also increase the quality of the overall top lift of paving.
Detour: A detour will be in place on Pioneer Street to S 56th Place, S 6th Way, Timm Road, and S 11th Street/Wells Drive. Detour Route (PDF).
Access to the Cloverhill neighborhood will be provided at the intersection of S 15th Street/S 43rd Ave.
