Pioneer Street PM Work - May 29: Lane shifts and intermittent flagging in effect Thursday, May 29 from 8 PM to 5 PM on Pioneer Street in the construction zone. Expect intermittent flagging and delays on Pioneer Street between Royle Road and Discovery Drive. This will allow the contractor to complete the lane shift to the south side of Pioneer and install new striping.
Pioneer Street Lane Shift - May 30 - mid-August: Secondary lanes of Pioneer Street between Discovery Drive and Royle Road will be closed 24/7 to allow the contractor to widen the road and complete improvements now until mid-August - one lane in either direction will remain open. The closure includes the eastbound right-turn only lane onto S 47th Ave (Discovery Ridge/Rosauers), the westbound left turn onto S 47th Ave and the westbound right lane entering the Royle and Pioneer roundabout. Headed westbound, left turns onto S 47th Ave (Discovery Ridge/Rosauers) will be prohibited. These changes will impact the lanes available at the Royle Road and Pioneer Street roundabout. Please slow down (25 mph work zone speed limit) and pay close attention to signage, cones, lane markings and flaggers.
N 53rd Place - June 2 - June 6: Westbound Pioneer Right Turn Lane onto N 53rd Place Closed and intermittent flagging on 53rd to prepare for installation of Culvert 5 (Pioneer Widening Project) and to allow for frontage improvements on 53rd associated with the new iQ Credit Union.
N 53rd Place - CLOSED - June 9 - June 13: N 53rd Place closed at Pioneer Street to allow the contractor to install Culvert 5 6 AM Monday, June 6 to Friday, June 13. Access to the 53rd Place driveway to Mountain View Dental and Ridgefield Physical Therapy will remain open. There will be no access to Pioneer Street from N 53rd Place.
N 5th Ave, Division St, N 3rd Ave and Simons St - June 3: Neighborhood roads closed for the Union Ridge Elementary Annual Parade Tuesday, June 3 from 9:45 AM to 10:50 AM. This closure will impact vehicle access to Abrams Park. View Map.
S 4th Way and S 21st Place - April 21 - June 20: Single lane closure in effect on S 4th and S 21st Place from April 21 to June 20, 7 AM to 5 PM, to allow for installation of electrical and construction associated with Ridgefield Heights.
Discovery Drive/Pioneer Canyon - CLOSED: Discovery Drive/Pioneer Canyon Drive is CLOSED between Pioneer Street and 53rd Place to allow the contractor to complete underground utilities, walls, lighting, roadway, curbs. fencing and sidewalk.
