Books
Join the Ridgefield Community Library, Friends of Ridgefield Community Library, and the City of Ridgefield in celebrating National Library Lover’s Month and Take Your Child to the Library Day!
Friends of Ridgefield Community Library Book Sale – Children’s books and DVDs, hardbacks, and paperbacks.
Members’ Pre-Sale: Friday 5 PM - 6 PM. Memberships are available at the door.
General Public Sale: Saturday 9 AM – 3 PM.
Ridgefield Community Library Scavenger Hunt – To Be Announced
Ridgefield Community Library Storytime – To Be Announced
Ridgefield Community Library – It’s the day we celebrate the contribution of libraries to people of all ages, beginning with the very youngest of us. Visit your local library, check out a book, a board game, a learn-at-home kit, and maybe even get a library card!
Little Libraries Walking Tour – Gather your friends and family and take a leisurely stroll around town to visit the Little Libraries available to the public. Print or view the map.
Bowls
Visit the City of Ridgefield booth at the Ridgefield Community Library to get a token*, 10 AM - 2 PM or while supplies last. Tokens are only valid at participating businesses or activities, to turn in and receive a delicious treat in a bowl, a flower arrangement, a ceramic bowl, and more!
*Limit 1 token per person.
Valid only on event day, February 7. For charges over the allotted token amount, customer is responsible for paying the balance (i.e. tax, tip, or menu item over the token value). Customers may choose to use their ticket at a participating business or activity.

- Where can I park?

Public parking for most events is available at:
- Street parking on Pioneer Street, Main Avenue, 3rd Avenue, Simons Street, 4th Avenue, Mill Street, 5th Avenue and Division Street.
- Parking areas: West side of Railroad Ave
Downtown parking can get crowded during events. Be prepared to have to walk a couple of blocks: arrive early, locate a drop off spot closer to the event for any passengers with mobility challenges, bring your patience. If possible, travel with family members or neighbors to minimize the cars in the area.
