Phase 1 of the Pioneer Widening and Discovery Drive Roundabout project, Discovery Drive to Pioneer Canyon Drive, is now open to traffic.
This roadway offers an alternative route for drivers to travel between Pioneer Street and the Ridgefield Costco. The roundabout planned for Discovery Drive and Pioneer Street is part of Phase 4, which is scheduled to begin in early 2025. This section of new road will remain open until the contractor finishes the roadway improvements for that segment, in early 2025.
The speed limit is 25 mph. Drivers are encouraged to use caution to ensure safety, since this is a new route.
