This marks the eighth consecutive year the City has received this prestigious award, which represents the highest standard in governmental budgeting.

The award recognizes Ridgefield’s adherence to nationally recognized guidelines that ensure the budget functions effectively as a policy document, financial plan, operations guide, and communication tool.
In addition to detailed revenue forecasts and planned expenditures, the City’s 2025 Budget also include guides to understanding the budget, information on the City’s organizational structure, City Council goals, performance measures, and a one-year capital plan.
